Turning a vase
Jan-July 2016
My National Trust connection with Petworth House in Sussex has been renewed by the opening of a new retail area in the house. I collected wood (oak, beach and yew) from the property at the end of 2015 and the products are now on sale in the shop.
Early in 2016 a large oak tree was felled in a private garden in Worcester Park. Very good quality timber and the first articles will be ready soon.
Birch - like beech can become very interesting after it has been felled and marked by fungal growth. A couple of these items from Purley, Surrey are for sale on the web site.
Dansel Gallery in Dorset specialises in artistic wood products and I am pleased to have been selling my items there for the last 20 years.
